Elephants and Dogs provide chill beats and smooth lyrics in their first EP, “You Won’t Be Seeing Me Around”.

This breakout EP released March 5th, 2021 on Look Up Records offers twelve minutes of pure bliss. The echoing guitar riffs paired with the floating ethereal vocals lull you into a sonic wonderland that leaves you dying for more by the end.

This project is a perfect five short tracks, two of which are a striking ambient shoegaze interlude and a gritty psych-rock postlude. The EP starts with the quintessential lush vocals and 90’s fueled rock aesthetic in the title track “You Won’t Be Seeing Me Around”. Check out the sunshine-infused music video of this track on the Look Up Records YouTube now to experience the full Elephants and Dogs aesthetic.

The EP contains an impressive guitar solo in the track “Pine Valley” at the two-and-a-half-minute mark that harkens back to an era of rock while still keeping a refreshing sense of newer psych-rock.

This project is an amazing breakout EP for Elephants and Dogs and provides a phenomenal expression of the grooves you can make when mixing the iconic past of psych-rock with the new breakout sounds of shoegaze music. Don’t miss this amazing EP and make sure to rock out to it next time you need to escape into some good music.
